Cheryl Cole was left in tears on X Factor last night.

The emotional scenes came as Simon Cowell berated her for choosing the wrong song for Lloyd Daniels.

Simon said to Lloyd Daniels:
‘You’re very very lucky that you’re cute and the chicks are going to love you. But once you went to chorus, it’s like a mouse trying to climb a mountain. I’m going to put the blame for this on the girl on my right, who’s not working with you properly.’

Cheryl then started to cry and took full responsibility for the song choice. The Girls Aloud star called Lloyd Daniels over for a hug after his performance of Leona Lewis’s song Bleeding Love and told him she was sorry for letting him down.

Simon told Lloyd Daniels that he is talented, very likable but getting the wrong direction from Cheryl.
Cheryl admitted diva week was a challenge for her.
